The Role

We're looking for a Producer to help us deliver the next show featuring high-profile UK talent within the hospitality sector.

With the Executive Producer, the successful applicant will be the main point of contact during launch, plugging into the existing developed format, and working across departments to have the show ready for release. 

When launched, the producer will need a strong and clear editorial vision working alongside talent to deliver compelling, sharable content that creates a strong sense of community. The producer will also need a keen eye during recordings for moments that can deliver to a social audience, and develop a strategy to take the social audience back to the full episodes.

This will be a visual podcast offering but audio listeners should never be an afterthought. Editorial and creative curation should always be inclusive of all potential platforms where the show will be consumed. 


What You’ll Do 

  • Plan, research and record episodes with established talent who are experts in their field. 

  • Providing strong editorial leadership rooted in presenting content in an entertaining and compelling manner that audiences will love.

  • Collaborate with digital, and commercial teams to maximise the editorial and commercial impact of the show that are creatively ambitious.

  • Think proactively about how the show can work collaboratively with other Goalhanger productions.

  • Coordinate talent diaries with talent management teams and internal productions schedules.



Requirements

  • Experience producing content within the hospitality sector.

  • A proven track record working directly with high-profile talent and their management teams.


  • Evidence of producing editorial ideas, selling them into talent.



  • Ability to record audio to professional standard and work alongside video editors on set and in post-production to direct content.

  • Display a cool head in what can be pressurised recording environments and the ability to work quickly to tight deadlines whilst retaining industry high production standards.
